I need to get lowering done also, and also live in S. CA (Los Angeles). If you find out a good price lemme know. Also, you may want to move this to the West Coast forum, you'll probably have more luck there.

the cheapest and best place to have it done is your own garage. you say you have no idea how to do it but how do you expect to learn how to do anything if you never try? find a friend who can help you out and do it yourself. its worth it.

I just installed them myself, and was a first for me.
As long as you follow the directions on the how to's its really not that difficult.

I've never tried to do heart surgery either, do you suggest that I do that at home also since I'll never learn it by getting it done at the hospital?

do you go to someone to wipe your @ss? you learned how to do that didnt you? there are some things you can go to a professional for and there are some things you can do yourself. this is one of the things you can do yourself.

you'll learn a lot and you'll save a couple hundred dollars. just trying to help you out.

NO unless you feel your car pulling on a even paved road. I have had H&R's for about 2k miles and SR has has eibachs for 5k+ and neither of us have uneven tire wear.

im just speaking from personal experience. i had no idea how to put springs on but a friend of mine who knew how came over and we did it together. just from doing it that 1 time i could come over to your place and help you do it. i learned a lot. there is nothing wrong with having a shop do it but it is just more satisfying to do it yourself and believe me, you CAN do it yourself with a little help.
