Those are the bulbs that come with the Hanabi Kit. I have that setup in my car. They throw much more clean light then the blue ones do. That price is good too. Those are very nice lights. Cops do not bother me at all, I actually had one cop in my town complement me on how nice they look. If you match them with the PIAA Platinum H3 fogs you get a very nice matching color setup! There nice and white on the road, but they light up the white lines and street signs with a purple/pink hue. Looks wild at night.

Head on they'll blind you!

The 7 series is a dark color, these are light colored. The color is a bit lighter then that pic shows on ebay. Very bright, clean light purple hue to them.

So the big question is, will these plug right into the ballasts for the 2K2 headlights, or will new ballasts need to be bought. While on that subject, can you use any ballast to ingnite any HID bulb or does, say a 6000K bulb require a 6000K ballast?

I don't think the'll be plug and play in any OEM setup. The ends may have to be changed slightly to plug in. I think those bulbs have metal tabs on the end that you can plug into your existing socket.

Any HID burner will ignite an HID bulb. The concept behine how they work is the same, just like any 110 Volt bulb plugs into any 110 Volt socket.
