1/8 time
1/8 time
I finally had the opportunity to go to the track. Unfortuneatly it was only a 1/8 run.
The temperature was about 68-70, medium humidity; overall a good nite to run. I did three runs; againt a modded, pre-2002 Altima, an Accord V6, and an 84-85 Vette.
This was my first time ever at a track so I was really nervous/excited. Here's my run against the Accord with just HAI:
AV6 Max
R/T 1.314 1.108
60' 2.558 2.312
330 7.164 6.417
1/8 10.839 9.785
MPH 67.77 74.13
Here's the time against the 84/85 Vette "mostly" stock:
Vette Max
R/T 1.013 1.186
60' 2.106 2.288
330 6.071 6.377
1/8 9.370 9.744
MPH 74.63 74.13
My first run was against the Altima, but they could not find my timeslip?? But the guy said I ran a 9.???.
O.K....now how did I do? Can anyone calculate my 1/4 time from this info?
Thanks.

usually u take the 1/8 time and multiply it by a number close to 1.55 (varying on car to car due to differences in top-end power)
9.74x1.55= 15.097

Well, this run was done in completely street trim (regular tire pressure w/spare in the back). I guess I can break into the 14's my next run with these items removed and more practice....
