Has anyone ever noticed this on their 2kmax with Auto transmision. Whenever you go from Park ~~~> Drive, the engine feels like it going to jump? I'm not sure if i'm making this clear to you guys, but something feels weird. Has anyone here acknowledged any known issue's with the Auto tranny? Thanks for your help.

are you using your emergency brake when

parked? that makes a big diff on Nissans. My honda hardly cared. But the tranny gets bound easily, on hill or not.

Actually, i occasionally use the Emergency brake when i am parked. In my opinion that should not make a problem, because i never drove with the Emergency brake on.

not exactly what I meant.

the max is heavy and even a slight incline will bind the tranny while parked. If I do not set the e-brake before releasing the brake (then P, and off), then the car tends to clunk or 'jump' alittle when going from P to D after restart. if your car is actually jumping or moving (even with brake on) when going from P to D, then your cold idle is too high.

its' powerful

with hondas it's less noticable because the motor doesn't really pull as hard as our maxs do so therefore you feel it less. just apply more pressure to the brakes while shifting. u'll feel it less. but ithink it's normal.
