Nissan explains why the paint keeps chipping
Nissan explains why the paint keeps chipping
I just saw their new ad on TV for the 2k2/3 Maxima. It was a black Max speeding on a long stretch of highway.
As the speed went up and the guy upshifted the paint on the Max slowly chipped away from the front to the back.
At the end of the commercial the "then" black Maxima turned into a Silver Maxima...
Good explanation Nissan... SPEED!

In all honesty though... Not happy about the paint on my I. The hood has 2 tiny chips that appeared from nowhere.
Is the paint process the same for the I35 as it is for the Maxima?

So don't speak too soon and knock on wood whenever you say "I haven't had any paint problems so far."
