Is is a generic bar just like all of the others you see. They're all made by the same company except the new OBX ones and the Stillen ones. As far as I know it fits a 2000-2001 Maxima fine, and should fit a 2002 Maxima (my source tells me it will fit 2002-2003, but I'm not sure if need modification of not).

I'd probably take one for $40 bones. I have an 00 SE Auto. What do I need to do to get one??? Are you an auto parts dealer or something?

Could somebody explain to me why this doesn't fit the 2002-2003s without modifications? Is this a big deal or do most of the 2002-2003s have to do this? I don't want to sell them a bad product...
Thanks,

Okay after searching and reading many posts, I have come to the conclusion that it will fit the 2002-2003 Maximas. It just takes more time to adjust because the manifold is in the way, so you have to adjust the bolts connecting the bar to the endlinks and the bar's position itself. Again it is not a huge deal, but will require a little more work than if you install it on a 2000-2001 (in which case you just slap it down and bolt!). If you are really **** you can even sand down the manifold, but in my opinion that is more work than it's worth.
Thanks for all your help guys, and I still need 5 more people to close the group deal.

Glad to be **** . With a power sander and medium/fine paper it took less than 2-3 minutes. Heavier grit would have taken less time. I didn't have to do any kind of adjusting to the bar. Bolted everything up. It fit the first time but I was worried about the clearance. Removed bar and sanded. Bolted everything up and have plenty of clearance now. This install was much easier than my 2k GXE. I had to break out the hacksaw for that.

Just type in 2000-2002 Nissan maxima and you will see what they are going for. A lot cheaper then that,
Chris
