Intakes
I purchased a berk intake but have not installed it yet partly because I have read many differing opinions on the benefits of intakes. Do they add hp or lose hp? I've read that many people experience a lose of hp in the low-mid range rpms and some actually getting less overall hp. What is the case? I don't want to install it if I lose low end hp because that's where I want it most, from a dead stop.

if you don't mind cutting a hole in the fender, then get teh PR CAI...its the cold air intake out there
if you don't want to cut the hole, then get the injen
when you drive in cold weather....like 60 and below, you'll have a lot of power with an intake and a cool sound.
in hot weather, an intake performs pretty lousy.

no problem, the thing is
if you don't mind cutting a whole in your fender for the PR CAI, then get it weather or not its hot or cold
that'll give you more power down low, i love that power right in the low end, like the VW VR6 engines....so fun
