Hey. I had my timing advanced on my 2k2 a couple of weeks ago, and so far I'm delighted with the results. I had them advance it to 17 degrees before top dead center. The factory setting is 15 degrees BTDC, and it is my understanding that if you go further than 17 degrees BTDC, then it causes problems with the car's ECU automatically retarding the timing anyway. Good luck!
