another visit to the twilight zone

I was driving along yesterday minding my own dang business, came to a red light and "attempted" to signal my right turn by flicking on the blinker

nothing happened

so I tried to signal a left turn.....

nothing happened

I'm sitting there scratching my head...trying to mentally line up any electrical mod that I had done in the last week (total = none)

so instead of worrying about it....I just drove to my friendly Nissan Service Center

according to the Service manager, the emergency flasher decided that it did not want to work anymore, and along with it dying the blinkers when bye bye too

they were nice enough to check out a lil bit of everything else whilst I was there

glad this happened BEFORE i do my blinker mod

the part was actually in stock (once again that Twilight zone visit)
and it only took 25 minutes

wacky huh??

doh! the cost on that part was like $11.. it took 3 visits to the dealer to fix that. THREE!!!! it was a 5 min fix, but i wasted 3.5 hours in trips to and from dealer.
