Engine whine in radio under med to hard accel

I have a non-bose stock unit and under medium to hard acceleration you can hear a whine in thru the radio (playing CD).

I've done the search thing and seen mostly probs after upgrading to a after market HU. Most ppl seem to recommend a ground loop isolator or emi/rfi filter.

The whine seems to get louder directly proportional to the level of acceration. Does anyone else have this with the stock non-bose unit? I don't know if the whine was always there or if I'm just pounding the pedal harder.

I have non-bose in my 2k2 and I only hear a whine if I connect my MP3 player (portable CD/MP3) via the tape deck (tape adapter). Not with radio/CD. In my case, it is most likely the tape adapter picking engine electrical noise and the stereo is amplifying it. Do you have aftermarket (non OEM) plugs?
This used to be a common problem years ago with certain plugs, not suppressing electro-magnetic interference.

The radio is the stock non-bose unit. The whine starts and grows around 4K and up rpms.

Ground your radio to the car's chassis. The factory ground from the connector is not a good ground. Let me know if this solves the problem.
