Alright, I had only "raced" one other car since I've had my max up until yesterday...some Eclipse that didn't have a chance.

So I just fill up my tank and hit the road...I'm coming up behind a GSR and he suddenly whips over to the right hand lane and we stop at the light. The kid had 3 of his peeps in his ride...(ugh) and they're all looking at me. He jumps his car twice at the red light, letting me know he wants to go. (Now, normally, I wouldn't waste my time, but I was bored...just had a long day, and well, he asked for it.) Anyhow, he never had a chance. I mean, it wasn't even CLOSE. I was looking in my rear view mirror after 2nd gear and all I see is the front of his car lifting up as he's trying to pick up speed. That car couldn't get out of it's own way.

Then, last night, some idiot in an accord (not last gen, but the gen before..tinted, crap 16" chrome wheels, etc...you probably have a few in your town...) tried to pull some crap at 35mph. Well, he got his **** handed to him too.

I'm not one to go out and race, especially crappy cars, but these punks really asked for it. I don't think people have any idea how fast our car is. I mean, come on, a GSR with 4 people in it? What the hell was that guy thinking?? The accord guy almost ran me off the road because he *thought* he was ahead of me. Suprised the **** out of him when I flew by.

Well, I'm now 3-0...but I haven't had a fair match yet.

i was racing a subaru (those fast ones)!! i think he got some &*^$% in his car because i was having a ruff time getting ahead until 80 then i toast his *** in the 465 LIE in NY! i was very happy after 80 because i know he was hating life!!

Just the injen so far. Haven't had $$ or time for anything else yet. y-pipe will be next, as soon as someone makes a decent one...then UDP then exhaust.

Oh, I do have a couple of stickers on my car....so I'm sure that helps.

Ok...I have a question for everyone.

What's better, my 2k2 SE Auto, fully loaded (minus Nav) or my friend's 86' Corvette 4+3 (4 spd manual with automatic overdrive)?

I am thinking that my car is better considering it is a new car, luxury/sport mixed together nicely. Meanwhile, his is always getting repaired, some little things, some big things.

Main difference is his 300+ ft/lbs of torque that he can use to basically destroy me off the line...

His car is certainly flashier since it is a vette after all...
