Do you have Brembo on your 5th gen?

Ok, I have done the search and it seems I am getting more confused then ever. Yes, this is a good place to get confused. Anyway, I need rotors and looking for Brembo blanks for my 00 SE. I called Wood today at Raceconcepts and he told he has EMC blanks 'coz Brembo doest have blanks for 5th gens yet? Thats odd since s/w autoworks has them? i-rotors claim to have them but now Wood said they dont make them ? Search yields odds and ends. Does any1 have Brembo rotors on their 5th gens? If so, where did you get them from? Do you recommend them? Hurry, I cannot stopppppppppppp
Wood also has an interesting explanation for getting dimpled rather than drilled on his ebay pages but lets let this issue RIP.
Thanks my peeps!

My friend just bought the Brembo Cross-Drilled/Slotted front and rear rotors from SWA for his 4th generation and he loves them. He got the two pairs for $300 from their website. He told me to get them for my 5th generation when my rotors warp or get messed up. He's really happy with them. He did a lot of studying on the subject whether to get just x-drilled or slotted/x-drilled rotors and he found more people suggested slotted/x-drilled.

I ordered my clear sidemarkers the day I bought my car from www.CustomMaxima.com. When I first got them they were unique and no one around my area had them, but now everyone under the sun has them and I don't feel special anymore In my opinion they make any 5th generation Maxima look better. I have PIAA Xtreme White 168 wedge bulbs in them, they put out a bluish-white tint. Hope I was able to help.

I'm interested in buying brakes and rotors. Question is how long should factory brake/rotors last? I have 21,300mi on my car is now a good time to replace everything with brembo? I'm hearing dimpled/cross drill is the way to go ...true?

i was wondering the same thing. my 2k1 only has 14k miles on it, and i can get my warped rotors replaced by the dealership under warranty. i think i might upgrade the brakes the next time they go and just have the dealer replace the existing ones.

or do you mean dimpled AND SLOTTED? isn't the current "group deal" dimpled w/ slotted?

and i'm wondering if anyone with the dimpled ones have issues with noise. i remember someone saying that they make a funny noise when you brake. anyone else remember this?

kafene.

I dont know anything about the dimpled rotors offered by raceconcepts. I know this though. Everywhere else and even some Porshes uses drilled rotors. Hey, if Porshes can have them in their 60K whips I can have it in my maxima.
