RPM Monitor On APexi RSM Is Frozen??
Well I started up my call this morning. The RSM turned out an usualy. But the RPM on the monitor stayed at 2371?? Did not even fluctuate. It seemed frozen. But the Speed was working fine. Do I have a loose wire or something? Did a setting get locked?

Maybe the RPM wire fell off.

if its stuck on one number then its reading a fixed voltage which means it could be hitting something else?

if thats the case shouldnt it be stuck at 0?

Accidentally grounding?

i think there is a loose wire somewhere and they are touching.
PCGuRu2K, did anything happen when you started noticing this, or was it just one time you started up the car and you saw it doing this.

i think that would make it go back to 0 again

The only wire that reads the ECU RPMs is the RPM wire from the RSM. If it's loose it should flutter and/or go to 0 since the voltage will be distorted.

it dun make no sense
i had the same problema and fixed it!
all you have to do is move the directional arrow down and it will erase the frozen setting. the same thing happened to my rsm on my camry.it froze, so i did research and someone told me to mess around with the arrows while in the monitor Rpm mode.
hope this helps, it is NOT a bad connection if its the same thing that happened to me. it will erase itself an go back to 0 just mess around with the directional arrows.

But my speed, and l/r settings are 0. The RPM is the only one locked at like 2226.. It's not bold or anything. Will that arrow thing still work?

try messing with the arrows and see if it helps.
