Not sure that it helps much, but I have almost 35k on a 2001... There are a lot of people that put a lot of mileage on their rides. Stop worrying about it and enjoy. The engines seem to run well long into their life

Don't worry, it'll last. Only problems I've had up to 71,000 on my 2000 is the auto tranny recalls/bulletins (And it's still not right), it needs the bulletin to flash the computer for the check engine light, and the paint is, well, you guys know. But the car's still going strong, I expect to have over 100k on it next year by now and it better still be running!

Im at 78k and the only thing that has gone wrong is that the ECU needed to up updated. The car ran fine but the SES light would come on with a code that my cat was bad. After a software upgrade the light is gone.
I am very happy thus far with the reliability of the car. I change the oil every 3k and use 93 octane gas. I do have a 5 spd so there have been no tranny woes. I do think that the clutch will need to be replaced eventually. Also, shocks and struts will be done in the spring. I just have to figure out which combo to go with.
I just put a new set of Dunlop Sport A2 tires on and they are awesome. Compliments the car greatly.
BTW, I have a 2000 SE
