Shox.com sucks!
They promised me my struts/shocks and springs by friday. I just called them and he said, "your springs are sitting on the shelf. We accidentally mailed your shocks to another customer. We have your front struts. Would you like us to ship those to you so that you can put them on?" My reply, "no dipsh**, I want the stuff you promised me by friday". He said he'll see if they can get the shocks from a local distributor. I've called everywhere. 3 week backorder.

B) They were straight up with you and admitted a mistake; at a minimum you should get your stuff shipped 2nd day at no charge for your inconvenience
C) Cursing at them won't give them any motivation to get you your stuff quicker and won't inspire them to make it up to you; see B)
D) Life will continue if you don't have a new set of springs and struts
E) They did make a mistake; accept it as one and hopefully others will forgive you when you screw up
A similar scenario with $tillen would have involved them blaming you for the order screw up. Somehow, someway it wouldn't have been their fault. Shox.com has a decent rep here, and based on your circumstance and your experience it was a simple mistake and nothing more.

I may have come accross the wrong way. I did in fact mean that I was upset at this particular instance for the simple fact that I knew the Tokico shocks were backordered for 3 weeks and they sent my shocks by mistake to another customer. They were honest, but only after I insisted on a fact finding mission to see where my order was. The guy was extremely nice even after the 1 instance of profanity. I did thank him for telling me he was going to try to find the shocks through another resource. There customer service answered all my questions I had and took time with me rather than get in and get out.
Good company, good customer service, bad 1st experience with delivery.
