Maybe you failed to read the part where I said NA. FYI my best NA run is 14.175 @ 96.96 MPH. That wont stay for long. I was only making 210fwhp when I did that and in 80 degree weather to boot.

I need to go find some waders.. it's getting pretty deep in here.

6 car lenghts right you ever been to the track??? Guess not since you search for the fastest 00-01 n/a time. when u have proof of how fast your car is I will listen. To take a part out of your book withour videos I don't believe your BS stories. BTW i pulled on a bpu supra last night he got me out of the hole but I pulled like 2 cars to 125

So your modded 3.5 trap speed isn't any faster than a lowly 3.0 5spd trap.

Race a 5spd with the mods in question from 70-125 no rice juice and all seats/spare no heavy system either. Also what mods do you have? The 2k2 auto maxima and v6 Altima I've destroyed were stock and I had dual 12's and very heavy 18's.

Now your just getting to personal! Listen guy just race one from 70-125 more than once. Don't get your panties in bunch when you lose! FACT!

I pulled at least 6 cars on both the stock auto v6 altima and 2k2 maxima to 125. Raced 4 times so it was confirmed

With you mods you will probably lose by only 2-4 cars.

Try to find a 2k1 5spd with (or close to it) intake, y-pipe, rt cat, b-pipe no res, stock muffler, UDP, and STS in your area.

For the umteenth time..... READ!! I said NA. And I have never removed any seats, spares, jacks, cupholders, floormats, dashboards, winshield wipers, valve stem caps, lug nuts, radios, air conditioners, etc. to run at the track. I dont have to.

I would gladly race you or any other 2K or 2K1 NA and 'see how it goes' just like you said.

a 2k2 auto with the same mods as me? Don't know of anyone personally that has them. And probably near impossible to meet one on the highway as a random encounter.

Ya you have a few mods so I would say at least 2 cars. Either way you still lose. Racing 4th gens is great and all but they aren't a 2k1 5spd with the mods in question.

from the times i seen a 4th gens are quicker with all bolt ons that 00-01's so I should lose even worse right????????

Unless the track lets you go to 125mph+ it really is only partially relevant to this debate.

Not in 4th gear. 2k-2k1 5spd strong point is highway speeds because of VI. Bottomline just race a 2k-2k1 5spd with my mods from 70-125 to satisfy yourself. Since it probably won't be a random encounter film it as well. Then you can watch it over and over to see yourself get beat. Then you might actually start to believe it.

I have absolutely no problem pulling on 5th gens w/ all the goodies. The only thing 4th or 5th gens I have not run with are NOS or Boosted. I am actually curious to run with Tony (1max2nv). I would like to see how it turns out.
A 5spd 01 will pull a auto 2k2 if both were stock. The 5spd 01 has better top end, and gearing. The auto has tall gears and its just gonna kill it. But if it was a 2k2 6spd, its all over.

Yep, 14.83 at 94.6 mph bone STOCK! 2001 5spd.

Most modded 2k2 autos are lucky to break 94mph in the 1/4 mile. A 5 speed 2k with a y-pipe and intake will consistently break 94mph. Actually more like 96mph. Trap speed is the best indicator of true available power. ET is all about traction.

Um no. You won't walk that much from a 2k2 auto.

Also raced a 2k2 v6 Auto Altima with basically the same outcome. Never raced either one from a dead stop but on the highway I pull on them no prob at highway speeds.

My car:
2k1 5spd
sts
hybid intake
y-pipe
rt cat
b-pipe
stock muffler
UDP
heavy 18's
heavy dual 12" box in trunk
etc...

All I did was post my experiences against 2k2 autos and altimas. You went on from there... Try reading through the thread. Try racing a 2k1 5spd with bolt ons from 0-140. Bottomline is my car has better highway gearing than yours even if you did pull ahead initially you would get passed.

I raced a 2k2 Altima v6 auto in my 2001 5spd.

Let me tell you, I got half a car from 0-90 on him. That WAS IT! I was stock though and so was he I am sure. But that was it!

There is no way in hell you pull 6 car lengths!

Unless you were as fast as that MUSTANG that pulled on my CL-S. lol

So you didn't race him from 70-125mph? Right? And you didn't have an intake-y-pipe-rt cat-b-pipe-udp as well correct? We gotta set this race up!

To be honest with you the CL-S's I have raced were closer than the 2k2 auto max to just over 100-110 after that they got walked pretty bad too.

I don't care if I had all those mods. That won't make you walk him 6 car lengths. Maybe 1-2 thats it.

He LET OFF because you were pulling or going to fast to where he didn't want to go.

look at his mods, he has almost every possible bolt on. he esily could be putting down 30fwhp more than stock if not more. 18" rims on the highway allows the engine to work less at higher speeds. if his tires/asspect ratio isnt around where it needs to be to keep the speedo accuate than he has just indirectly made his gears wider, thus on a highway racing a auto 2k2 wouldnt really stand a chance ESP if the driver doesnt know how to/or didnt manually shift which puts him in 3rd gear in a 4 speed auto at 70 when he floors it bc it is just past the droping point. 3rd gear is crap in a 2k1, i dont know about the 2k2s but im sure its nothing to brag about. his story is very believable considerin his mods.

What is this "18" rims on the highway allows the engine to work less at higher speeds"?

That is the most stupidest **** I have heard.

I recall my 3rd gear on my 01 to be the strongest gear out of all of them.

This thread is ridiculous... 6 car lengths... He probably just didn't want to take you to 145 (not that you could get there) and he backed off..Just realize you might be mistaken.
