napa/pepboys.. they have a lubricant for the window channel.. just dont get it on your paint or interior (spray with a rag over the tip to block drips and overspray)

He's probably got a pebble stuck in the channel. Thats makes a horrable screach when it scratches up the against the side of the glass.

i took mine to the dealer, I thought they would give me problems about the tint... but instead they replaced the window runners and lubed/greased up the window and the problem went away. good luck

Both my driver's side and passenger side windows. Took it to the dealer, they cleaned the channels...twice. The third trip to the dealer, they replaced the entire motors on both under warranty. Guess I wasn't the only one with this problem.

Nothing against your post, but how in the Hell would you get a pebble inside the door to the window channel. I know anythings possible, but it is extreme.

Just spray some silicone in the rubber channels that run down inside the door. You'll need to spray enough so it runs all the way down the tracks inside the door, but obviously not too much. Got rid of that hideous screech and my window now rolls down about 50% faster.

It happened to me as well and ended up taking it to the dealer. They never told me the cause. (They didn't even do any paperwork, hmmm)
