Import Intelligence.com 5th gen white gauge faces

2K2 colored gauge overlays

I ordered these last week, thinking, "Hmm, I could have white gauges in my GXE for only $25? Cool!" Well, unfortunately, the answer is a big horking NO. These overlays are really for 2K2 SE gauges, to make all of them white, instead of just the speedo and tach. You can't use them on GXE/GLE gauges, since the fonts are different, and you can't use them on 2K-2K1 SE gauges, because theres two cutouts for the odometer and tripometers. (Plus, SE gauges are already titanium-colored. Why bother?) Too bad. I guess I'll just have to find gauge cluster out of a wrecked SE now...

I wonder if those guys know that the 2k-2k1 are different overlays than the 2k2's

So these will fit my car ??

... I wonder what if they look the same at night ?? ... and how hard are they to install ?

It looks like they would, but I'm not too sure how they'd look. The ones I got are a plain white, with cutouts for all the various writing and numbers, so I think the gauges would light up the same at night. I'm just not sure it's worth the effort to install these on SE gauges, since they're already titanium-faced anyways. I suppose you could order the overlays in titanium and only use the gas and temp overlays...

importintelligence sucks... they sent me the wrong gauges like 4 times, and my indiglo needs have bad LED's.. customer service blows and they guy takes his sweet @$$ time.
