FINALLY installed my maxspeeds
Well, after sitting in my closet for about 3 months, I finally installed my Maxspeeds today. The initial drop was about 1" up front and about .75" in the rear. It looks awesome already, but I can't wait for the springs to settle more. The ride from the shop, was pretty smooth (it's only about 2 miles or so). I'll test it out this weekend and see how the handling improved.

I got a lot more drop on my car; I expect they will settle even lower for you.
Did you actually measure that, or that an eyeball estimate?
I'm really happy with my Maxspeeds.

I like my maxspeeds also. I got about the same drop after the install. They settled another 1/4 inch over the next few months.

I was not happy with drop at first. After several months .. I can say it is the perfect drop, if you dont want to scrape, rub or hit anything under the car. Yes, going lower would look better, but ask any of the guys who have chopped a coil, and you will see that if anyone else gets in the car...
... I have had as many as 5 people, with no problem... Give them a month or two and they settle more..
Springs , FSTB, and an RSB, along with wider wheels and tires.. are an awesome combo !

I've measured 1.5" drop front and 1.4" drop rear on my 2k2 auto after 600 miles (4 days).
I did however jack up the rear, then remember "oh crap, I want to measure the before and after" and then unjack (is that the proper term) and measure without pushing the car down to settle. This may have made a .1-.3 difference in the rear.
I've been told that's more than usual, but the ruler doesn't lie!

I am seriously contemplating the Maxspeeds for my 2k. To those that have done it, have you needed to get the camber kit as well? Looking to install with stock struts for now...any and all info is helpful
(thanks out to Triple8Sol and Dario from NissanX.com already

If I turn my hands sideways though I can fit all ten of them in there.

If you kept your stock struts, then this is what you have to look forward to.

I'm hoping to get at least a few thousand miles out of the stocks before I replace them with KYB GR2's. I'm doing it myself, so I don't worry about the labor charge. My time is worth nothing, right?
I know the 2K2/2K3 suspensions are a bit softer than the 2K/2K1. Any chance the softer shocks/struts of the 2K2 are responsible? Anyone???

If your doing it all yourself then I guess it wont hurt to try the stock struts first. I unfortunately don't have the tools or knowledge to do it my self so I am probably about to spend about $250 to replace the struts just on the back.
What really sucks is that you can't even get a basic replacement strut for the 2k2's yet. Nobody makes them since I guess they think no one would need them yet. My only option is to go with a high-performance shock or order the OEM ones from Nissan for over $100 each.
