well i ordered the Scosche install kit and started installing a Kenwood HU today. well i cant get the kit to line up correctly, and i see you have to drill new holes but the so called "guide" makes no scense. has anyone used this kit or can someone help me out?

I originally had a kenwood hu in my 2k2 (before the nav) and I got a kit from crutchfield..had no problems with the install. I would maybe get a different kit.

 

well i think what im going to end up doing is bringing it down to the local car audio shop and have them do it. when i was looking at it i was going to have to trim out some of the trim piece in order to have the HU come through. and new holes will have to be drilled. so instead of me messing with it and most likely screwing it up, then haveing to get a new trim piece and new stereo support brackets, i'll just leave it to the pros.
