Dern stuff in the road

ok...so help me out here....i hit laying in the middle of the highway and when i got my tires rotated the next day they said i got a bent rim and it's quite ugly. they said i don't have anything to worry about, just that it'll make my steering a lil jittery at "high speeds". so i'm thinkin about buying a new rim to be safe but saw in a post that they're $400 each? they really that much? guessing someone's gonna tell me to forget about it and get a new set (which i've thought about), but it ain't that serious. Where can i get 1 rim for a lot less than 400?
