Post break-in ECU reset?

Couldn't find this in a search - sorry. I'm about 600 miles into the break-in period in my new Maxima. After 1k miles, will the ECU automatically reset itself after I start driving it like it's intended? How long does that take?

Thanks!

You don't need to reset it. The ECU is on a constant learning mode, if you alter your driving style the ECU will adapt to it accordingly

Thanks for the info. Actually, that part I figured out - I was wondering about timeframe (i.e. for how many miles do I need to stand on it to train the ECU for correct driving? My dealership doesn't know, so thought someone on the forum might.

Well i read it's 200 miles or 50 start cycles but i don't know if that's accurate or not.

If I were you ...

I would reset the ECU, (take the battery cable off overnight). My AE drives soooo much better after the first few hundred miles. The ECU will catch up with you after a while, as someone said above, but why wait?

Good Luck

Because the 2k2 ECU doesn't seem to respond well to a battery disconnect reset.
