Stiilen rotors

I'm so tired of warped rotors. I'm thinking of Stillen Rotors and pads. Anyone have the Stillens for any lenth of time? How are they holding up to time/miles? Any warping?

I've only had mine for about a month or two, but I've been pleased with them so far. I got the slotted rotors. They look good, don't fade, and they don't dust very much either. Accompany them with the Axxis MetalMaster pads that Stillen resales... stainless steel brake lines... and fresh brake fluid, and you will feel the difference.

I've only had them for 1000 miles (not exactly what you were looking for) and I have to say that this one mod makes me feel like I'm driving a $25,000 (before depreciation ) again! I drove with warped rotors for over 30k and almost got used to it. These rotors are great....do yourself a favor and make the move.

I've had the Stillen XD with Axxis MetalMaster pads plus SS brake lines for 17k+. No warping. Highly recommend getting them.

Would these fit the I35? I would imagine it would, without a problem... As far as price, does anyone know how much they cost? I know that in the thread PezKing4 posted from the 4th Gen board, wicked1044 quoted $176 for pads and rotors. i doubt that would be for fronts and rears. Can anyone verify the price?

The only 2k2 rotors available are from Stillen on their website, but be prepared to pay a bundle.

I think I will have to get stock size x-drilled or slotted rotors. Anybody know where I can find some? These stock ones warped on me twice already.

Are you guys putting these rotors on yourselves or what? Where would I find a shop that would install Stillens?

jnm2kse - they are pretty easy to install the fronts or any brake shop should be able to do them pretty cheap.

augie - u can buy the X-drilled from stillen, i paid 205.00 for the fronts.

Yea... I'm in the same boat. My brakes need some improvement, but is THIS the best way to go. It looks to be about $500.00+ in parts. Can we pinch a few pennies and still mangage to stay on the performance upgrade side of things? What's the biggest bang for your buck here? Thanks.

That's about right. Check JR Nissan price list for Stillen parts

That looks like the Raceconcepts rotors It's weird because in the main pic it shows the Stillen rotors but the rotors for sale look like the Raceconcepts. Must be a mistake.

I highly recommend JRNissan! I got the front and rear Stillen rotors from JRNissan for $340 shipped. I didn't get the SS lines and/or pads. I already have aftermarket pads, so no need for that.

After the install, my brake pedal felt spongy. I bleed them, but I guess I didn't go it right because it still felt spongy. A friend and I redid the bleeding the next day and the spongy feeling was gone! I'm happy with them now. I'm still breaking them in.
