Got back from Nissan

Well I just got back from Nissan. Well it was interesting to say the least. First I go in for an oil change. I got my mobil-1 syn. Oil and filter and washer. That goes smoothly. Ok Now on to the windshield wipers. I bought some refills about 2 weeks ago. Well, not only do they not work, they are way too long. So I take those wipers back when I got the oil change. Well they said I would need a new whole blade and not just the refill. 23 bucks a piece. I reluctently said yes. Well about 5 mins later will I was getting a refund in the parts department, the guy workin on my car comes back in and says that the wiper blade is too big. Well, they cant figure out whats going on. The guy workin on my car said he had this problem earlier last week. So they look up for the part. Nope dont work. So they match it up with one they have. Well they dont have any. So they start calling around. I tell them nevermind. Geez. Oh last thing. I am one of the ones that has problems with the trunk lid scratching the bumper. Its getting so bad that its rusted a bit and rubbed off onto the bumper. So I show them the TSB and well, they tell me its gonna cost $270.30. They have to take the bumper off. I told them, nah, I'll figure something out on my own. Geez, Could something go right other than an oil change?

Sorry to hear it. They did the same thing to me about the wind noise TSB. I hate it so much at 60+ mph, it's just plain ghetto. My 89 Horizon was quieter than my max is. My T bird is silent compared it it. Anyway, I'd try another dealer or doing all the work you can yourself and avoid anything Nissan related altogether.

You probably already know this but about last week or so my shop instructor and I were looking under the hood and when I close the hood, he happend to noticed that the refill on passenger side was tearing (rubber strip) and he said you might want to get a new one, at the same time he noticed that the passenger side is smaller then the drivers side. If you look in courtesy nissan parts list, you will see that they have driffrent part numbers. I was going to order them but now I think I will wait.

I'd buy the nissan blades - if those morons can ever figure out which ones fit.

I've bought the best aftermarket blades and they don't fit well and don't work for long.
