Bay Ridge Nissan Crooks

GUYS, I BOUGHT A 2K CERTIFIED SE WITH 28 K MILES LAST WEEK - BROUGHT IT BACK TODAY - CAR WAS APPARENTLY REAR-ENDED AND FIXED - CALLED TEH COPS ... DEALER IS OFFERING EITHER 2K MAX SE WITH 35 K FOR AROUND SAME AMOUNT I PAID, OR A 2K2 SE WITH 22 K MILES - WANTS AROUND 2 GRAND MORE THAN THE 2K SE I BOUGHT ? ANY SUGGESTIONS - THESE GUYS ARE PROFESSIONAL THIEVES - DOES THIS FALL UNDER THE LEMON LAW-THEY CERTIFIED THAT THE CAR WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION ... CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK ? THANKS FOR ANY INPUT...

check out the VINs on the other cars he is offering you then make your decision. if they check out then you have an opportunity to benefit from this. just dont go back to them for service.

laws vary from state to state. Your attorney general will have the info you need. they will be happy to give you your options.

btw, our attorney general office is setup to answer calls specifically about lemon law, disclosure (your issue) and odo fraud. They often have a hotline or a specialized dept for it.

I suspect you call the easy to find number in your local phone book, then they send you a packet of info about what steps to take. Ours gets them out the same day. Like I called about lemon law once and had a booklet and FAQs in my mailbox the next day.

Is this the same car that you posted in an earlier thread?

I would push for the 2K2 for that same price you paid. If you paid around $18,500 for this 2K with 28K on it, you already paid the extra 2 grand that they want.

Good luck..

When I was looking for a new Max last month, i went to Bay Ridge Nissan and got some bad vibes. They were very vague in answering my questions and low balled me on a quote. I never went back. I got lucky and found out my partners friend works at Staten Island Nissan and got a good deal.
