I have a 2000 GXE and would like to know if the 2000 SE 6 spoke facotry rims would fit on the 2000 I own. if they would, does anyone know where i could buy some and how much they might be going for. also if anyone knows where i could get a body kit for a 2000, please let me know(i would like to see pictures of finished cars with any kits available) thank you in advance.

The only body kit available for the 2k's are the Stillen body kit, and the O.E Nissan Anniversary Kit. Your better off w/ the Stillen Kit. You can probably find the rims here. Go to the Parts Wanted section and agree on a price there. There are several people here who have the Stillen Kit such as, Y2KevSE, The Maxx-ster, and some other guy. The guy with the black SE. It looks goood on all of them. If you want pics, do a search on them. Or you can go to Stillen.com and do a search on Maxima and the bodykit will come up.

There are currently three body kits available for the 2k+ max.
You can get the stillen one from stillen.com
You can get the AE one from your local dealer
Or you can call courtesy and get the gtr kit from a skyline that will fit on a 2k+ max

Hey y2k....how loud is your catback exhaust? Is it a gentle exhaust note or something that is annoying? Im considering an exhaust system for my Max, but i dont want it too loud.

Dave . . .

The sound of the exhaust depends on your rpm range. It also has a lot to do with the type of muffler you decide to install.

I originally installed a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler (chambered design) on a crush-bent catback system. The system was very quiet in all rpm ranges. When I went to a mandrel-bent exhaust system, I installed a Magnaflow muffler (straight-through design). The catback with the Magnaflow definitely drones at low rpm ranges (2000 - 2500 rpm), but it's still very quiet at cruising speed (~3000 rpm).

The sound also has a lot to do with pipe diameter. The greater the diameter, the more sound you'll hear. I'm running 2-1/2" piping, but I know of at least one person who swears that 2-1/4" is quieter and performs better. In fact, he removed his 2-1/2" piping in favor of 2-1/4" for performance reasons.

Hope that helps.

Wrong! there are 4. I got the new Sport Compact Car today. On page 155 is the Spoiler's Etc ad. It is alot bigger than usual. I look right in the middle and in the Ninja Styling section, they have made a TIGHT looking body kit for the 2K Maximas. It is a bad picture though. The kit is primed. It is just a tad bit on the rice side, but it is cool!

I do, but its the 3 in 1 kind. U know the printer copier kind. I dont know how to work it. When I scan, it scans in black and white. It is supposed to scan in color, but I cant work it. I went to get my new color flatbed scanner today, but Best Buy sucks *****. Ill try, but if not black and white will have to do. Im doing this because Im nice. I dont regularly rip pages out of hour old magazines, but I enjoy this place and will risk it. It will have to be an hour though, because thats how long it will take to find out how to scan color. What burns me up is that the picture is really black and white too, but It has some grey in it. On my scanner, grey shows up as white. Ill find out, dont worry.
