I look under the hood last week and the top of my battery is damp and I am starting to see that white corrosion around the terminals and tie down. Upon closer inspection, the corrosion is all around the battery tray and the screws holding in the airbox assemble. The car is only 3 months old. I took it to the dealer expecting a simple swap out for a new battery, and they gave me this whole speech about needing the car for a day to check the entire charging system and alternator. WTF!!!!

 

i would give them it for the day so that they can check it out better safe than sorry so in the long run if any thing happens its them to blame. Plus it under warrenty FREEEE is always GOOD

 

Yeah, I left it this morning with them. They just called and told me it was ready, but the guy on the phone sounded like he was in a hurry and didn't want to get into details as to what they did.
