Custom MAX Fstb Fitment!! LONG!!
I hope this can help some people!!!
Well let me start by saying I'm no gear head but this seemed like a simple install. I started of course by removing the the brackets from the bar and putting them in place on the tower. Now you only put the two outside nuts on first. You must leave the inside nut off till later. After yo hve the 4 nuts in place and tighttake the bar and adjust the bolts so the line up on each side. Put one bolt into place and line the bar up insuring that it's not hitting the manifold. This will take a little time to line up but not to much of a problem. Once you are sure it's clearing th manifold put the bolt in place on the other bracket and lock it in! You may have to adjust it several times to insure it's clearing the manifold. After you have it in place on both sides take the other two nuts and put them on the brackets. DO NOT tighten them all the way down. You will cause the bar to touch the manifold. You should be able to get them snugged up. Test drive a couple times to make sure give a WOT once or twice I did to make sure and your done. Don't forget about the nuts on the bar tighten them as well. Give evry thing one good look over and tightening and your good! Thanks again Greg and the guys at custom max. Don't give up guys it's a good bar give them a chance!

Just to add, you might also want to try going into reverse. Having the bar clear the manifold on a forward run doesn't necessarily mean it's clear from the forward motion of the engine while going in reverse

Thanks mike!!
After finding it made the sound in drive the grunt after I put it on wrong when I backed the car up it did it in reverse also. So i made sure when I got it right I backed the car up to make sure it didn't hit. Thanks again Mike.
