While pricing a paint and installation job for my stillen kit, i've gotten quoted $600, $650, $1000, and $1500 separately from 4 different places! just for a paint and install! and the guy who told me $1500 said that paying anything under 1000 would be a mistake and they'd do a terrible job.. am i crazy or should i be paying this much??!?

 

most shops are around the sub 1000 range. 1500 is just pricey, IMO.

I got my kit painted & installed for $450...& this shop majorizes in fixing up Audi's...so you know their paint aint cheap...

 

got it already it's sitting in my garage, i actually had it at school last week a few days in the midst of hauling it to a few places to get prices, i didn't see you by your car tho.. still tryin to find somewhere to install it, i think i might get it done at my friends shop for $600

 

how much did you pay for the kit and where'd you get it from? i was thinking about throwing one onto my car, but there are a few things i would like to get done to it before i buy one. we should have another mini-meet one of these days in the breslin lot. i'm always in my car TUTH's 11-12. good luck with the install -> peace.

 

i bought it from .org member psing23 brand new for $630.

i'll keep an eye out for you if i'm ever there around that time.

I got mine prepped (b/c I bought the purple kit off the Kenwood Maxima), painted & installed for $500 CAD ... which is about $320 USD ... I wonder why it's so expensive down there?

I got mine done for $500 paint and install.....I have lil paint drip but that b/c I was rushing the installer other than that he did very, very nice job using original Nissan paint.....

 

where'd you get the nissan paint from??

 

I guess I over paid then $950 painted, installed, grill, & fog lights installed. Oh well what can I do?

 

Hey! I like ur foglights.....Is that the one thats on Suburu.....? I thought mine would be looking like that but one of the rep. from Stillen told me that they burn out faster so Stillen gave me 5'in. PIAA.....but I'm happy with it.....

 

Do you all know of any shops in New Jersey that is resonable, because I am getting some rediculous prices for paint and install. Thanks!!
