gurgling sounds...

Okay, one last thing i forgot to add...When I accelerate, the engine sounds like its gurgling. Is that just the electronic ignition or is that pinging or something else I should worry about? I use 93 octane so I dont see why it should ping. any ideas?

thanx

Does it sound like it's water slushing around? If it does, it might be the HVAC system. My g/f civic had the same problem. The hon-duh dealers described it as an "air pocket" within the hvac system...it seems to be fixed now...but I think it's still intermittent

No, not exactly. It happens when I accelerate. no matter what gear im in. it just sounds like if your sucking water thru a hose with a pump or something and whatever your sucking thru the hose isnt coming thru quick enough. kinda like theres space between the stuff comeing thru the line. does that make sense? i guess you just have to hear it.

Well, for the civic situation, the noise occurs at light acceleration at low speeds...meaning at about 1500 to 2000 RPM. Does the noise occur at certain RPMs?
