Question about service bulletin

I want to know if anyone had the transmission slip problem fixed on their 00 Max. I noticed the problem, printed the service bulletin and have an appointment for Fri. The service guy said they haven't seen any problems, but didn't really argue because I brought the bulletin in. I just want to know what kind of improvement I can expect. Thanks

i had the slipping on my 01 max. they said they would replace the soleniods first then if it still did it then they would replace the control module. i think its called a TCM. after the solenoid change, the trans has not had any slipping problems. however, when the car is first run in the morning it has rough downshifting from time to time. after it warms up, it goes away.

at this point, any shop that hasnt seen a slipping max auto tranny has either totally ignored their customers, doesnt work on maximas, or is lying.

I called the largest shop in the state, the said they have never seen the problem. Total lie. They had recently lost their tranny tech and the new one wasnt 'up to speed' so they chose to ignore me, even tho I had told them repeatedly that it was a safety issue when merging or crossing busy roads.

I called another Nissan dealer (very small) and asked them if they had heard of it. They said "who hasn't? heck we stock the parts!"

24 hours later and a 30 min drive I had new solenoids after being put off by my two closest dealers for over 6 months.
