Brake Judder Problems

Hi,

I just replaced my brakes and rotors at 62k miles. I had the brake problem start on me at 38k, after the warranty expired.

I just dished out 500 clams for this. I think replacing rotors at 62k is a little rediculous. What do you guys think?

the 5th gen rotors warp pretty easily..

try searching or checking the faq.. I "think" the answer was to get different rotors.. NOT nissan rotors

if you think 38k is bad, mine were replaced at 10k. it started just after the 9k mark but was unbearable so i took it in. they cut the rotors and put new pads on. they said if it goes again which im waiting for, that they will replace the rotors and pads.

I'm going to the dealer tommorrow about my rotors. Not only is the judder bad enough to make my leg go numb, my rotors have small radial surface cracks in them at 22000 mi. I'm not hard on the brakes. The hardest they work is when I haul the car down to stop at the toll booths to and from work.

For under 500 clams you could have put a complete Stillen brake kit which includes new cross drilled rotors and pads on all four corners.

Your brake judder would be gone for good!
