stillen intake + frankencar midpipe??

i have a stillen intake in my car right now...im wondering if it would make a REAL difference w/ a midpipe...do u guys think that the midpipe w/.... stillen K&N w/ velocity stack will outperform the others such as apexi??? and um....steve from frankencar, what do you think, and will your braket be strong enought to hold the stillen filter in place or will it distort? oh and....where can i get a berk intake??? the 2 midpipes look the same, but i dunno.....wheres the berk website, it there one???

Adding a FrankCar midpipe to a Stillen intake will make your car louder, both at idle and at WOT.

Adding the midpipe will do little, or nothing, to improve performace over what the Stillen intake has already done.

The midpipe should give you a little more down low actually, but you already have a midpipe with your apexi right?

i think it would.....its alot bigger so the filter wont have to work as hard as the apexi to filter the same amount of ait

But I guess you'll suffer more of a lag at lowend with stillen vs apexi with the upper tube setup? Since the filter is bigger?

the apexi filter is more then big enough to flow the air that the maxima needs. they put those things on beasts of cars with 500hp and they still flow, in the world of High Performance tuning, i'm sorry to say out HP numbers are nothing too spectacular. Ethan had tested his stillen with and without a midpipe and he got HP and TQ gains all across the powerband with the midpipe as well as that great sound, a cleaner looking engine bay AND some of the low end punch back.

I installed the Frankencar midpipe with the Berk K&N setup and I noticed a "butt" difference. I would thing adding a midpipe would act similar to the "venturi" effect.
