Issues with Superchargers and autos??

I was planning on getting boost in a couple of weeks but I see some SCed auto ppl blowing trannys.
If there is anyone that is currently SCed and auto, are u experiencing any problems?

I think Dman_2k and Keving had not problem with their tranny. Keving had vb/cooler/tcm/updated solenoid and his auto tranny is still strong (now is on the garage floor). and he was running 2.87

Dman_2k's tranny had no problem too...and he has one thing that auto tranny fears the most, high stall torque convertor.

Tanman now has Dman_2k's SC and he had no problem for 4 months.

me : got Keving's SC two weeks ago and now drive it real careful.....try not to boost at low gears. hope she will be good for couple years.

other auto boosted maxima drivers:
20th Maxstyle : tranny was gone....no further detail.

nvmymax2 : tranny went bad and odd thing is, oil condition was still good when tranny went bad. no excessive metal shavings were found on the pan.

max n' out : tranny was good, but he stated that it had a lot of wear when they pulled it out for a rebuilt. now his running on a bulletproof auto tranny.

Jer : SC installed without VB recal...later experienced tranny slippage and recently vb was doen by maximum tuning.

anybody that I missed?

so seems like half of the boosted auto tranny went bad even with vb (everybody above has vb) so my suggestion is.....start to save money for 5spd swap in the future.

Re: Re: Issues with Superchargers and autos??

Update to my situation :

Nearly 4 months now, and about 15k miles... tranny is alive, and I beat my car around just as I would if I was running a stock car in proper condition with factory-specs Knock on wood.. she's still alive... if anything breaks it will be from my driving. FYI : I've made about 20 passes at the track with it too..

Hayden 404, amsoil synthetics, and the VB! Also performed the solenoids/tcm tsb's/replacements. Protorque TC coming soon..

*edit : also please note that I've got about 68k miles on my odo - this tranny is also Canadian (like me, eh)... I have VLSD...
