Carbon-Fiber door pillars
Carbon-Fiber door pillars
I'm planning on purchasing some carbon-fiber door pillars for my 2k3 maxima SE from wood-dash.com but before i do just wanted to know some things before i purchase them.
1. quality?
2. fitment?
3. how will they hold up during summer and winter months? (ex.:will they start to chip, fade, peel etc.)
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have them as well there was a group buy going on for them they Cost me $60 If I remeber correctly but the deal was for $65 including shipping. The quaility is great and if you look aat my homepage you will see mine. As far as fitment goes start from the bottom of the door pillar and work your way up while installing. I did the opposite so mine aren't completly flush withthe bottom of the door pillar.....oops but I can live with it.

No problems at all???... Anyone else who can vouch this? As far as pricing goes. I heard the carbon-fiber pillar kit goes for around $60-$65 from wood-dash.com. Is this true?

Carbon Door Pillars
I purchased a set of these and after putting on the small rear pillars I thought that the car looked cheap. IMHO; So I have a pair of center pillar carbon fiber sitting somewhere in my garage. I didn't think the fit was that tight. I followed the instructions and took my time making sure they fit properly but they just looked cheap. The fit was not tight at all. Again once on, your not taking these off. The glue is strong. No problem with these falling off once put on with a little heat.
I believe so

Carbon fiber pillars not a perfect fit
I second that motion. The carbon fiber door pillars are not a perfect fit. I purchased a set from New England wood dash and have yet to install them due to the fitament issues. They are a bit narrow for the doors that they are going on. I called NEWD and told them about this problem that I am having. They told me that they have had no complaints but will refund me my money as soon as I return them.
