non-bose stereo...

is it my cdr or is it my non-bose stereo starting to go bad?...

on the way to work this morning, i had one of my favorite music cdr playing on track one and all of a sudden midway through the song it just cut out for about two seconds and resumed for a second and then cut out indefinitely afterwards with a cd read error on the display... none of the other tracks would play at all. was on highway so there was no bump to make it skip or anything...

ejected the cd and re-inserted, this time forwarding to track #2 to see if it was just track #1. lo and behold, it did the same thing with track #2 midway thru the song.

ejected and inserted another cd, this time using an original non-cdr, and it played it fine. hopefully it's just the cdr, it does have a few smudges of finger prints on the outer edges, but that same cdr played fine many times beforehand...

I know this probably has been discussed many times before, just wanted to rant.

Dang nissan, why couldn't they use alpine units instead of clarion units...
