Faint SES Light???
For some reason, my SES light has been faintly lit up on occassion for the last couple of weeks. I have the mods listed in my sig. I have not noticed any change in performance when the light is faintly lit. It is not nearly as bright as when the keys are in the accessory on position so I don't know what to think. Anybody else had this sort of deal happen?
TIA,
Johnny V.

Common problem with most 2k2 maximas..
i have mine doing the same thing.. I know some US 2k2's had their clusters replaced..
Because i live in POS canada, they say there are no TSB's and no problems found.. *******
I learned to live with it..

I've got it too, many threads on this. My dealer offered to replace my cluster, so there is a TSB for this. I believe it's a problem with a circuit board in the cluster. Had mine tested and no codes came up, so it's not an indication of a malfunction.
I will have mine replaced at some point before 36K miles. Takes a day to do and they reset the odometer to your previous reading. I've kinda learned to live with it...

I have no engine mods and the car was completely stock when this happened to me (2 weeks ago). I am going to have it replaced with the cost coming from Nissan whenever I have time to make an appointment at the dealer. Lots of busy weekends..I have another 2 years and half/34K miles to do it.
