Just my two cents but I reckin that during winter, the tire pressure will tend to fall below the recommended pressure at times. What I do during the winter is just check the pressue more often than I do during the summer.

I use the same pressure as I do in the summer...34 front and back. You do have to check it more often as the temp falls. Some people say to take air out of the tires in the snow to increase traction but I don't think it is correct.

o plz.. i need a reply fast... i have a feeling its gonna snow here soon... (IL) what would you need to do to increase traction using OEM tires.. if it doesn't help much... what tires do you recommend for the BEST traction.

The best thing you could do is to get yorself set of winter tires - whatever you like. I'm using Hakkapelita NRW now and happy with them for the third season.
