R&D for Angel eye kits in LED and Fiber Optic

No offense my friend. But those are entirely amateurish IMHO.
Not only are the rings too small for the headlight, the rings themselves are powered by LEDS and they look very off.
When you price out fiber, lamps, ligh boxes, connectors, etc.
You'll find we're far from gouging anyone if we move this product to the price point of $215

I think your car looks good, BTW. But, the rings need some work.
One thing that we've noticed - doing this for 2+ years now - is that no matter what, one fact will always remain the same - you get what you pay for in almost every instance
We've had much competition out there, but nothing compares. I've driven many cars, and only when you drive the best cars, do you realize why the price premium. But, no one disparages the other cars, it's just a different product. For example, drive a dodge neon and then drive Toyota Corolla, two cars that are seemingly in the same price category, but the Toyota is always 4K more - because it's better quality.

Okay since no one wants to ask this question I will.
What makes you think you can put angel eyes on this assembly without cutting the beam pattern at all? There is no way to do it. Reason being is that I have analyzed these lamps for hours and yes I have cracked this bad boy open.
If you put ANYTHING on the inside of the reflector it will cut the beam. If you plan on putting it on the outside of it to save the beam pattern, tell me how you plan on getting around the fact that the low and high beam SMACK each other? Aint no way you getting a fiber optic tube around that without cutting beam pattern.
Case closed.
Sorry if this sound hard, but it cant be done. We DO NOT have projection style lamps to enable no beam pattern loss.

What made us think we could do it?
Simple, it has 0, none, zilch, zippo effect on your headlights beam pattern. We have installed these on lights with: reflective pieces, non-reflective peices, inside the lens over, outside the lens cover, on self-leveling, on HID w/ Self Leveling, on ellipsoid lights, on non-ellipsoid w/ no lens light.
At least 1 of the above covers your style of headlight. Manufacturers are like sheep - once one does something, the others will follow. They design all their cars in the same 20-30 square mile area of LA, so it's not like they are getting too many unique perspectives.
I think the 5th gen maxima's are no different.
Anyone want to help me acquire a broken maxima light and I'll prove it? Just tell me where I can get one? I don't want to spend more that $50 to acquire one - are there salvage yards?
Somebody show me some pictures so that I can mark it up for you

Right now everyone REALLY appreciated how the 2k2 assembly has one of the best beam patterns of any car. Very flat beam design gives great visibility and no glare for oncoming drivers.

I doubt the beam pattern on the Maxima is better than:
Audi's, BMW's, Mercedes. Even not considering HID as an option.
Acura TLs have a great pattern.
Can someone post pictures and I can mark it up.
BigDOg, can I ask you to take a digicam pic of your headlights and let me take a look? One from the top of your engine, etc. I just don't want to go to the local dealer here, but if I ahve to I will.

That should be sufficient for you to do what you need.
And you might want to think twice about thinking the TLs has a better beam pattern. I been in my friends and dont think it does. It scatters all over the place and blinds oncoming drivers. I had an aftermarket HID kit in my regular 2K1 housing and let me tell you, I lit up the road 4x better than the 2k2 assembly ever could, BUT it came with a price of blinding EVERY oncoming driver. There is a correct way and a wrong way to aim lighting. Doesnt mean all manufacturers are abiding by them.

Here's an example of my wife's E38 which I finished up this weekend.
I posted some pics in the 7 series forum, but it's absolutely wicked what they look like when completed!
