Learned Something Today
I took a trip to Miami today, and while I was running Alligator Alley, I realized that the cruise control will only work up to 90 mph; who'd a thunk? Before everybody starts with the "that's too fast" comments, you need to understand Alligator Alley. It's like 80 miles of flat, straight interstate highway running through the middle of a giant swamp. It would be safe to cruise that road at well over 100, despite the speed limit.

Anyways, I use the 93mph limit at least once a month. If anyone figures a way around it, I'd like to know.

yeah my eagle talon went to 125 for the crusie control... there was some talk on the 4th gen forum but nobody ever figured it out.. even using the ecu speed limiter removal you still have the cruise control limiter

MT, tires with 40psi, and OEM 17's equals 93mph according to the speedometer.
Verified more than once.

i hate alligator alley, especially when i had my thunderbird and there was no fence there to protect you from the gators, although im a gator now. my cousin flipped his acura legend in there awhile back when their was no fence and luckily somehow got himself out of the car and the water at the same time. it was nighttime too.

Heh, I used to find this feature annoying until I got a ticket coming back from defcon 9. After getting a ticket for 90mph (the cop clocked me from the other side as he passed and turned around to catch me much later) I was grateful it didn't set at the desired 110mph.
