all I can say is TimW was pretty much on the mark....not a whole heck of a lot of difference in the 1st to 2nd shift under normal driving HOWEVER it does feel an itty bitty firmer...still seems to be a softer shift than 2nd to 3rd and so on but it is better(mentally if not physically )

But where you can really tell the difference is when you want to or need to hammer it...downshifts the same but the shift to second seems to come a bit quicker and is a lot more stout....gone is the waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh...ok now I'll fall over myself and roll into second....(at least thats how mine felt)

I'm glad my days of trying to replicate the slip are over....if for nothing else I won't be guzzling gas like crazy by punching it all the time
