11 months, 18K miles and one busted tranny

Hey guys just wanted to let you all know that in the last few weeks my car has developed a 3rd gear grining problem. It started out only when down shifting from a higher gear but now even on a soft 2-3 shift I get a grind. I went to my local dealer and had some trouble at first about trying to get my tranny fixed(service guy said my car was fine ). But I spoke to the owner of the dealership and he said he would take care of me, infact he even test drove my car and identified the problem. So it looks like the tranny is gonna have to get pulled out and the 3rd gear syncro is in need of replacment. Well hopefully when the car is fixed 3rd gear wont be terribly notchy anymore.

Other then this my CD player broke and I snapped my cable shifter braket(ya I shift hard, lol). But all in all so far I have enjoyed my max a great deal and I intend to keep it for quite a while longer

No questions about my mods. Me and the owner talk about my mods and my track times all the time

If that were so, a lot of 3rd and 4th gen 5-speeds would be on the road.......

6-speeds are just not solid. At least early prodcution ones aren't.
