BTW - I've seen a helluva lot of them from where I'm from...hell, the Caddy dealership sells them with 20's and larger off the lot.

There still is nothing about an Escalade that could justify $54 grand. It doesn't have independent rear suspension (I checked their web site), hydroformed steel frame is just a method to make the frame using high pressure water (big deal - it still a frame) and it's 345 hp engine doesn't make it accelerate anything close to most decent cars (it's 0-60 time barely cracks 9 seconds).
If you need this kind of size in a vehicle just buy a Suburban/Yukon and save the money to mod your Max.

I applaud the direction Cadillac is taking their brand. To me the CTS looks good from certain angles but not all. You can get a manual transmission in it which is more than you can say for the V6 Camry and V6 Accord Sedan. So atleast Cadillac is making an attempt in offering a sporty sedan and moving in the right direction.
