Those with the factory side skirts.... Does anybody know what is holding them. Other than the srews at the ends and on the bottom sides. Maybe double sided tape or tabs... A friend of mine wants to remove his factory skirt but does not want any ugly holes left behind or having to deal with removing the goo off from the double sided tape.

Any help will do... please don't flame cause i tried doing the search and no luck for me. Thanks ....

yea...besides the screws on the side....tabs run along underneath the side skirt....the whole thing....i say about 8 inchs apart or so ...maybe a foot....anyways...theres alot...i know b/c i had to replace the WHOLE side from fender to fender.....even the freaking door pillar...well part of it....

 

does anyone know where they sell the side skirts for them because one of mines broke n i wanted to change dem but i cnt find any online some help me if u could thnx

 

clips.. plastic ones... I ordered them when I added the 02-03 to my 01, but I wasn't going to drill over 20 holes in total.. trying to avoid rust as much as I can...

 

a bunch of cheap plastic clips. im pretty sure their screwed in. I know this because my right skirt was falling off at one point.

 

its basically a bunch of holes in the rockers with grommets in them that the plastic tabs that are on the skirts snap into. The 10mm head screws hold the skirts on the buttom and rear and a phillips head screw in the front by the fender.

are they different by years? will i need to replace the mud guards?

 

I have a pair of 2002 OEM side skirts and splash guards sitting in my garage that I took off before I got my Stillen side skirts. They are painted black, but probably need repainted anyways. If anyone lives in the central PA area, I would be willing to sell them (pick up only).

02 and 03 Maximas come with them stock, 00 and 01 don't come with them. As far as I know, the splash guards on 02 and 03 are made to fit with the OEM side skirts...at least mine do.
