It wasn't me, but I ran this Audi 2.7T this past weekend.
We couldn't get a clean run, but I pulled a bit on him.

What do those things run? I love the way 2.7T A6 looks, especially the 2002 versions. With dual exhaust in the back.

 

I've run with a couple of auto 02-03's, the auto's never stood a chance, even from low speeds.
My car run's 14.4's, it has ever since new. I don't have any real mods for performance yet, other than aftermarket bypass valves and my resonator yanked out. With the resonator removed and the BPV's, I've found out that I've ruined my 1/4 mile times. (my 60ft's have gone from 2.0's to 2.2's, while my trap speeds have increased from 96 mph to just over 98 mph) While my et's have suffered, my top end acceleration has increased nicely. This guy in the SE today ran past me while I was cruising at about 80. As I pulled in behind him, he booted it. The telltale puff of smoke, and smell of exhaust, and I downshifted to 3rd gear. As we approached 100, I pulled to his right and passed him rather smartly. It was a pretty fast trot that I passed him with. We got bunched up for traffic, on an upgrade, and once traffic cleared, we booted it again. On the upgrade, I was able to pass him just as easily as before. I passed him with a 7-10mph margin, and the gap widened as the speed increased. I'd imagine that if it were a 6 spd, I'd still pass him but not with as great a margin.

Now that the factory warranty is gone, I will surely be chipping the car. With the addition of downpipes, I will have approx 350-380hp. Those two mods (about $2,000) will produce low 13's with stock driveability.

i assume he is talking about the AUDI, but i would expect no more than 315 chipped without a full exhaust and a k&n filter

 

nope...a chip on a 2.7T can increase about 85hp+ the downpipe that could make it 350 at crank easily
