Mounting cellular antenna on rear window?

I'm mounting a cell antenna somewhere on my car. Its a sticky one where one side sticks onto window outside and the other side sticks inside to the same place (so theyre facing each other one side outside of window the other inside)

i wanna do it in the top center or top-sides of the back window but im afraid of ****ing up my radio reception. any tips where to mount it? any help appreciated!

IT wil not work..

Unfortunately the 2k+ maxima has the retarded sun shade at teh back, which will disipate the signal..

Do what i did... remove the antenna bypass on your cell phone handsfree kit, and just use the internal cell antenna..

Forget about installing the external antenna, its worthless..

what about the front window?

Also the lower center of the rear window has a big open space?

Careful with the trunk lid swing if you're gonna put it there.

I had the same problem with my Max. I was afraid of screwing up the radio reception. I had my antenna mounted on the front winshield in the upper corner on the passenger side. I had the installer cut the antenna so it is very short and not too noticeable. I think it's pretty cool looking. You can just barely see it on the 2nd and 3rd pics on my homepage. I'll post more pics soon.

Here's a decent pic

You can barely notice the antenna on the windshield in the upper passenger side corner.

YOU DO NOT NEED THE EXTERNAL ANTENNA..

just open the cradle and remove the wire that bypasses your internal..

you don't need it..

I have the flat internal one too, I used the existing hole in the hoodliner to run the wire out where the compass mirror would come out and attached it right there to the top center glass, very nice and very stealth.
