my gf found this and i dunno if this ever happened or noticed anything. but heres the link for the recall.

Yeah this happened in early production 2K2 models. The later models were fixed.

If you go to Nissan's site: www.nissandriven.com
under the ownership area (I believe) you will find they post the recalls there for you to review.

Thanks Mark. I was never aware of that 'Recall' selection on the Nissan site.
