Gettiing away with No-points violation??

Ok heres the situation,
I got caught not stopping fully thru a stop sign. I went to court to fight it and the cop didn't show up so the prosecutor told me all I had to do was pay 100 bucks and I wouldn't get any points on my license.
I agreed and paid the violation. Now heres my question, can my insurance company charge me more even though I didn't get any points???

By the way I live in NJ, the worst for car insurance

from what i remember yes i think they can, and why would u have to pay $100 for the ticket? if the cop didnt show up that means there is no witness proving that happend and they let u go clean w/o any fees, but then again this i know is true for speeding, but i havnet gotten stopped for the stop sign thing so it might not be the same?
