Maxspeeds have been on for about 9 months now and 15K miles. I'm running stock shocks and tires. I have a Stillen RSB and FSTB. The ride is stiff like it should be, but the handling makes up for it all. It handles like a gocart. There is still plenty of travel, but you definitly feel the bumps now large and small. Actually the large ones feel twice as large. On a side note, if anyone has the time I would suggest test driving the new infinity M45. 4 door V8 340hp and the ride is soft, but handles BETTER than my lowered Maxima. It stays flat in the turns and everything. It's amazing what 45 grand will get you.

Iv had my springs on for about 2 months now and my front tires are getting pretty bad and they havent been on for long. Im still on stock shocks and the ride is not too bad but it gets annoying sometimes especially on ****ty roads, but I love the fact that I can go twice as fast on curves and not most cars cant keep up with me when we are going through them and the look of my ride looks alot better then the crazy wheel gap I had. I was pretty much expecting that all this was going to happen but I didnt care now that it is happening it kinda sucks bc now I need new tires and they are only about 8 months old but oh well im still happy.

My car had 21k on it when I installed the springs, and unfortunately they are now shot at 28k! I am getting some Tokiko's on Tuesday.

Kloogy, I was thinking about you today and how you haven't been posting as much. Your car makes me want MM everytime I see it.

I agree, Maxspeeds are one of the best mods.

Tires SHOT?!!

Ok - THAT got my attention.....!!

Were these NEW tires, and what Kind?

Have you rotated??

Do you feel like the early wear was due to hard driving, or bad install??

Do you check you tire pressure regularly??

Noticed you have aftermarket rims in your sig....what size are you running, and what size tires??

There's an answer here somewhere!!

Let me know.

I had my MaxSpeeds on for 10 months and about 15,000 miles on stock parts and had NO problems at all and just switched to AGX parts....I can notice a marked difference...(well...no kidding!)
but still like the springs for the performance , drop, and price.

Oh and Courtesy FSTB, RSTB and Addco RSB as well as Energy Suspension bushings up front

8 months
KYB AGX
Maxspeeds

No problem with tire wear but I did get alignment adjusted after install....

Ride is great, not super low but low enough for me. I have my shocks set on two in the front and back right now so it is a little bouncy.

Ride is noticeably better and handles more like a performance vehicle than a luxury sedan

Got Maxspeeds about a week ago on stock setup. THe only thing that bothers me is when I go over speed bumps. I feel it in the back. Should I get a wheel alignment after the drop?

I installed my maxspeeds along with tokicos about 3 months and 2.5K miles. I love the ride on good roads. On rough and bumpy roads it is a bit annoying. I am still running on stock rims and tires and my tires are already shot. I am planning on getting it aligned when I have the tires changed.

The only thing that I really don't like is when I hit a large bump at highway speed (there is one on the way to work, unfortunately) it seems to bottom out in front. I did not trim the bump stop 'cause I still am not sure how to do this right.

same here..........maxspeeds, stock SE struts on for 6 months now. Alignment done right after drop. No signs of uneven tire wear. Ride is tolerable.

And what if you got......

lots of stuff in the back. Y'all taken a road trip or carried a lot of stuff in the trunk w/ the maxspeeds? thinking of getting some and just thought about how low the car might sit and react to bumps if i have a few folks in the back or a good amount of stuff in the trunk. Especially want to hear from folks w/ stock struts. much appreciated.

hey regejaxx...what is a "tolerable" ride?

The ride is definitely tolerable with the stock 17's. The ride is about the same with my 18's and a lower profile tire, but you will feel the bumps more....Still very tolerable. Car doesn't bounce off the ground like those ricers. I've been carrying my two stock 17" rims and tires in the trunk for a couple of weeks and I haven't had any probs.
