5th Gen vs. 4th Gen feedback wanted

For those who have owned both a 4th Gen and a 5th gen maxima, I have a 98 I30 with Stillen FSTB, RSTB, and RSB. I'm trying to decide whether I should upgrade the suspension to KYB AGX or trade the car for a 2002 SE Maxima. Is there enough difference in the two to justify the $8k or so difference? Is there enough difference between the 2000-2001 and 2002-on Maxima's to justify the higher price of entry. Wanted opinion from those with both. Guy at work who traded a 95 5sp Max on a 2001 Se auto says if he had to do again, he wouldn't. What do you think?

Going from a 4th gen to a 2000-2001 is silly. They are similar in performance and features. Going from a 4th gen to a 2K2 would be the way to go. You go from 190 hp to 255 (or so...).

If all you are looking for is a better suspension then I would stick with yours. The 2k2+ suspension is really floaty.
